Should I Sell My Home Before Buying a New One?

Buyers have a lot of great questions, and one that tends to be repeated often is, "Should I sell my home before I buy a new one?"  It's a great question because the best order to proceed so that the client can both maximize their sale and give them the [...]

Ways To Get Involved In Local Politics

San Fernando Valley pic courtesy of hector sanchez @flickr What a week! Just a few days ago, most of us exercised our right to vote in this beautiful country. This election has brought so much attention to the political system and so many strong opinions and [...]

Infographic: Buy or Stay?

CA Association of Realtors released a recent infographic: Buy or Stay?  And this had some really interesting information for prospective sellers. When it comes to buying a home, Xers, Boomers and Matures all plan to stay in their current home as long as possible, while Millennials plan to purchase their next or first home within the next 2-5 years. So why do I say that this is important for sellers to know?  Well… 81% of Millenials say they will be looking to move… and 30% say they will be moving in the next 2-5 years.  Which is a heckuva buyer pool.  So perhaps keeping in mind selling features that are targeted towards millenial buyers will gain extra attention to your home.  So tune in next week – or reach out to me here – for some tips to do that…. Infographic: Buyer’s Social Media on the Rise

I know that I'm certainly not the only one out there checking my phone ever 10 minutes that it's beginning to look like a nervous tick.  Sometimes that's emails, or phone calls, or texts... but a lot of times: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Vine.  But it's for business purposes, [...]

A Charitable Day

This year saw yet another new phrase: Gray Thursday.  That's right, Thanksgiving, which has been controversially becoming a new date to begin holiday shopping (and continuing to get the shaft, in my opinion) has now been given it's own catchphrase.  But what I want to highlight is something more [...]

Trick or Treat – Tips and Reminders

"Trick or Treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat!"  There are few times throughout the year that beat out the fun of Halloween.  However, with all the children running around capitalizing on their sugar rush, there still needs to be some caution.  Here are a few [...]
