Free Water Conservation Items

If you own or rent a home within the LADWP’s service area, you can receive showerheads and aerators for free:

Bathroom Faucet Aerators

The standard bathroom faucet aerator sold in California uses 2.2 gallons per minute (GPM). You can receive free 1.5, 1.0, or even 0.5 ppm bathroom aerators from the LADWP for your home. Average savings are up to 2.5 gallons per day which are approximately 900 gallons of water savings per year!

Kitchen Faucet Aerators

The standard kitchen aerator sold in California uses 2.2 gpm. You can receive free 1.5 gpm kitchen aerators from the LADWP for your home. Average savings are up to 2.5 gallons per day which are approximately 900 gallons of water savings per year!

Showerheads

The standard showerhead sold in California uses 2.5 gpm. You can receive free 2.0 gpm or 1.5 gpm showerheads from the LADWP for your home. Average savings are up to 1.0 gallon per minute used which is approximately over 5,300 gallons of water savings per year!

Certified Pool Pump Replacement Program

Also, as a part of the many residential programs, the LADWP offers up to a $1000 rebate to residential customers who have in-ground swimming pools filtered with a single-speed pool pump. This retrofit installation program is intended to retire older, inefficient single-speed pool pumps and motors and replace them with qualifying energy-efficient variable-speed pool pumps and motors installed by certified technicians.
