Griffith Park-LA Zoo – Head out to the LA Zoo for their newest attraction: Unextinct at The LA Zoo. Guests can take a self-guided walk through the lush landscape to see true to size, life-like dinosaurs in all their dino glory. Enjoy special effects and interactive features to teach all ages on these magnificent creatures.
Pacoima – The Richie Valens Recreation Center is hosting a May Festival carnival for kids of all ages. Enjoy food, rides, games and more!
Santa Clarita – Head out to Santa Clarita for the Santa Clarita BBQ Festival. This 2 day festival features some of the best BBQ and Beer in Los Angeles. Low cost admission and kids 12 and under are free! Saturday is the day to get the best BBQ around!

Echo Park/Silverlake – Echo Park is the place to be this weekend. Come on over to the Echo Park Craft Fair! This Bi-annual arts fair has slowly built a strong following over the years. Started in a backyard, this fair showcases some of the area’s best artists of Americana and craft and design artisans.
Beverly Hills – Take the family and head out to Franklin Canyon Park for Franklin’s Movie Magic. This scenic and interactive tour allows guests to see historic locations for film and TV shoots. Easy/moderate 2 hour hike.
Burbank – The Burbank Central Library is hosting Lego Club. Children ages 2-14 can enjoy a day of building and creating with the world’s favorite building blocks.
Burbank – The Make-up Designory is offering a workshop with some great tips on how to work with medium to dark skin tones. Learn tips and tricks how to make the most out of your makeup for a smooth, flawless complexion.

Burbank – The Burbank Library is holding a fun fair for kids. Buena Vista Branch Library will be showing kids the science behind Willy Wonka candy along with some fun crafts!
Century City – The Annenberg Space for Photography is showcasing a photography exhibit featuring candid portraits illuminating the global refugee crisis. These breathtakingly beautiful photos make a statement about our current social climate.
Hollywood – If you haven’t done it yet, you have to check out Cinespia’s Cemetery Screenings at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. This event is a great way to spend a Spring night!
Museum Row – Head over to Museum Row to swing to a little Jazz Music at Jazz at LACMA. Various artists of the genre will be sharing their musical talents with our fine city!

Griffith Park – LA Zoo – The LA Zoo is extending their Earth Day celebration with a conservation-focused series that showcases Endangered Species day. Enjoy special presentations and talks by educators on the world’s most precious and endangered species.
East Hollywood – The Fountain Theatre presents My Manana Comes. This humorous and haunting tale is about sacrifice and survival in pursuit of the American Dream. Written by Elizabeth Irwin, the production premiered off Broadway in 2014.
Hollywood – Celebrate a Hollywood institution! The Hollywood Farmers Market is celebrating its 25th anniversary of offering local farmers and vendors a showcase for their delicious wares. Each Sunday enjoy demonstrations by chefs such as Neal Fraser and the delicious Curtis Stone.
Sherman Oaks – The Help Groups’ Resource Fair is in its 6th year. This event is for all ages and is a great opportunity for parents and professionals to discover and learn more about the wonderful resources Los Angeles has to offer the special needs community.
Irwindale – Here-ye Here-ye…calling all Lords and Ladies! Come to the SGV for the Renaissance Pleasure Faire! This cultural event features all the Renaissance bells and whistles with Knights, Queens and Kings parading around live jousting events, period costume and artisans and lots of food!
