LOS ANGELES: Car buffs will die and go to heaven for at least a week, beginning Friday and running through to December 1st when they get to attend the LA Auto Show. Just read the tag line: Where cars, technology, and genious converge.” Bar has been set, my friends.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD: Enjoy art, food trucks, and helping charity by bidding on a piece of art during the Benefit Your HeART Show. Proceeds to go to Generosity Water.
SANTA MONICA: I wonder if it’s a coincidence that the LA Auto Show and Tech Week LA are going on at the same time. If you’ve missed your chance to pop into Tech Week these past few days, then try to make a pitstop and check it out. For an area now being dubbed “Silicon Beach” it’d be interesting to see what new innovations are being displayed!
VENICE: In order to let my husband enjoy Movember just a little bit more, I’m considering taking him to Stouts-N-Staches, a block party benefit to raise funds and awareness for Movember Foundation.
SANTA MONICA: Since outting my husband’s new found love of HGTV (see blog, here), I’m wondering if I can drag him with me to see the HGTV Holiday House. A modern day lifesize gingerbread house people. By HGTV. Can that be any cooler? #GeekedOut
EAGLE ROCK: Knock a few names off your holiday shopping list by both supporting Small Business Saturday and having a good time. We Heart Eagle Rock will be hosting its annual We Heart Eagle Rock Block Party. Each participating shop will also have an available activity to join.
LOS ANGELES: Every Saturday and Sunday through December 22nd, go wild & head to the LA Zoo for the Reindeer Romp. Santa photos, holiday crafts, and reindeer–where else in LA can you see real reindeer?!
HOLLYWOOD: Watch the bands and floats march down Hollywood, Vine, or Sunset during the annual Hollywood Christmas Parade. Head down there early and you can even catch out the pre-parade fun with performances from many bands from Goo Goo Dolls to Stevie Wonder. This year’s Grand Marshall is Buzz Aldrin, to boot!
SHERMAN OAKS: Head to the Fashion Square to be a part of the Chanukah Celebration. From a menorah lighting, to face painting, to arts and crafts–the celebration will include something for everyone.
