Pasadena Chalk Festival: Winner of the 2010 Guinness Book of World Records for being of the largest public art event of its kind, Pasadena will host hundreds of artists to create amazing murals of all genres and styles.  Participants will be treated to live music throughout the festival, as well as an area where children can create their own works of art.  June 15th and 16th, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM at the Paseo Colorado Mall (280 E Colorado Blvd) and the Pasadena Convention Center across the street.  For more information, please go to Pasadena Chalk Festival’s website.
Galleria Kid Zone 2013: Saturdays in June and July from 10:30-11:00 AM Sherman Oaks Galleria will host free performances for children.  June 15th singer Bob Harrison will serenade and June 22ndmagician Stoil Stoilov will mystify.  For more information, please check out the Sherman Oaks Galleria Kid Zone website.Victorian Day in the Park: Join the Los Encinos Docents Association for “Victorian Day in the Park” on Sun. June 23rd from 1:00-4:00 PM.  Wear your best 1870’s garb-which I’m sure you have lying around the house-a picnic and a blanket, and enjoy a relaxing day in the park.  Kids and leashed dogs are welcome, as well as games to enjoy.  Donations welcome.  For more information, please go to the Victorian Day in the Park’s website.
