Fri May 30th

Downtown- Come to Grand Park and join The Music Center’s Dance Downtown.  If you are a little sheepish about getting down with the good foot, there are Cumbia dance lessons available for free.  Every Friday, all summer long.
Hollywood-Feel the need to party hardy?  It’s LA Club Crawl time!  Come one down to the Pig N Whistle to start things off.  It’s the best night you won’t remember.
Woodland Hills- Pierce Farm Center is proudly welcoming the Gem and Mineral Show 2014. Come and see the wonders of rocks.  It’s free and for the whole family.

Sat May 31st

Hollywood-Running Saturday & Sunday a t the Hollywood Raleigh Studios is the 9th annual LAWine Fest.  Pretend you know what you’re talking about as you sample wonderful bouquets of wine and craft beers, along with some yummy food.  Or actually know what you’re talking about and impress your friends! It’s the perfect way to relax and usher in summer.
Los Angeles-Is there a little fairy living in your house?  Take her to The Faery Hunt’s A Mermaid’s Tail show and party being held at Griffith Park.  A Parent’s Choice favorite, there will be singing and fun for all.
Malibu-Come on down to the Boys and Girls club of Malibu to help them raise money for a trip to South Africa by purchasing things from their garage sale.  Teach the kids the value of working for a dollar and then putting it to good use by going and helping others.  This garage sale is sure to be a good time while supporting a good cause.
Malibu- The beach is nothing without a good volleyball game and what is better than the biggest tournament? The Ramon Calderon Cup is at stake.  Come on down as a spectator or a competitor.
Moorpark- Summer is the time of year to gaze up at the stars and wonder about the heavens.  What better place to do that than the Moorpark College Observatory during their Summer Night’s Sky Public Star Party.  Bring the family event starts at 8pm and the event is free but donations are greatly appreciated.
Silver lake- The Kinda Open Mic weekend extravaganza is back.  Come on down to the Silverlake Lounge and try some material out or cheer on someone who has the guts to do it.
West Hollywood- CB2 Pride Parade kicks off pride week in Weho.  Come on down to the famed Sunset Blvd from 1-3pm.

Sun June 1st

Bel Air- Just over the hill, the 54th Annual Residents of Beverly Glen Arts and Craft fair will be a great place to find that ‘just perfect piece’ to finish off your home.  Come out to support local artist and come away with some one of a kind pieces
Beverly Hills- Take a hike.  No really, take a hike.  Nature trek at Franklin Canyon is offering a nice hike. It takes about 2 hours and is considered a moderate.  Enjoy the great outdoors before it get too hot to be outside.
Los Angeles- If you happen to be around the South Robertson neighborhood this weekend, you might want to head to the 17th Annual SoRo Community Festival.  Food, fun, music, and community make up this year’s theme of “Many Neighborhoods Create One Great Community!”
Studio City- The Alberici Sisters are the ‘Showstoppers’ at the famed Vitellos restaurant.  Enjoy the music of an era gone by as they sing classics and share stories of their days touring with the Rat Pack.
Valley Village- The Country School invites the community to come participate in the 2nd Annual Country Fair that kicks off at 11am.  Bring the family and enjoy games, food and a water park.  Admission is free.
