LA Craft Beer’s popularity is on the rise lately and everyone is getting excited about visiting a local brewery and trying out different beers. But since there are so many new popping up these days, it can be a struggle to find a good one or to find any for that matter because not all of them are online.

Here we listed some breweries in the San Fernando Valley and around in hope to end your quest for crafted beers and start your beer-tasting journey to cool the upcoming hot summer days.

Stone Brewing Company

Grab a pint or a flight of generously sized tasters and settle in for a minute in their small outside patio and maybe consider ordering some pizza from the pizza places around. And then consider getting another beer.

8one8 Brewing

Focused solely on developing draft accounts in the San Fernando Valley, look out for their beers in places like Crazy Harry’s Bar and Johnny O’Brien, or visit their website and see which other places have their tap beer.

Address: 8951 De Soto Ave, Canoga Park, CA 91304

Cellador Ales

Only a few breweries in the country are fermenting 100% of their beer in oak barrels, and Cellador Ales in North Hills is one of them. They focus on the extreme ends of beer – very high abv, very low abv and barrel-aged stuff rich with funk and sourness.

Address: 16745 Schoenborn St, North Hills, CA 91343

Enegren Brewing

Started in a dorm room, now the 3 man team operates a 15-Barrel brew house in a beautiful taproom in Moorpark. Go for the beer. Stay to chat with the locals.
